You're right Ireland producing rum.. when did that become a thing? Well in 2018, we made history producing Ireland’s first-ever rum, distilled from start to finish at our home in Kinsale. Using only the finest sugar cane molasses, our rum has been recognised on a global scale, winning a prestigious Gold at the World Rum Awards.
Blacks Golden Rum is the second rum to be produced by Blacks Brewery & Distillery. This rum has been matured in ex-Irish whiskey oak barrels for the last five years giving it an underlying flavour of wood smoke amongst the many tropical fruit notes.
